#1 I came across a prototype amplifier that uses two 300Bs in push pull. The taps on the OPT secondaries are marked 1, 4, and 8 ohms. With both an 8 Ohm resistive load on 8 Ohm tap and 4 Ohm resistive load on 4 Ohm tap I am measuring approx. 50W RMS before clipping the 1KHz test tone.
